In October-November 2024, Batavia United Methodist Church assembled hygiene kits, feminine hygiene kits, and flood buckets, and shipped cartons of supplies for distribution by UMCOR to flood-affected areas.

UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, is the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church. UMCOR assists United Methodists and churches to become involved globally in direct ministry to persons in need.
