Plan a Visit!

The information below was designed to help you prepare for your visit with us in-person. We hope it will give you a sense of what our life and gatherings are like at Batavia UMC!

1. Our Worship Time

Our normal worship time is on Sunday mornings at 9:00am. The 9:00am service has a blended feel with music styles ranging from traditional to modern to contemporary. Occasionally we change up this schedule for special Sundays, but these will be noted in our online calendar.

2. Parking

We are a downtown church in the city of Batavia, and parking can be confusing if you’ve never visited before. We do not want that to get in the way of your visit! Rest assured, there are plenty of spots accessible near our building. GPS devices will lead you to our front door, where parking is not abundant. But across the street you will find plenty of public city parking. There is also parking in the back of our building, accessible off of Water Street. See the image below for a visual guide.

3. Dress code

There is none! Come as you’re comfortable, whether that means jeans and a t-shirt, or a tuxedo or ballgown (or somewhere in between).

4. RSVP?

You do not need to let us know you’re coming – feel free to just stop on by! But if you would feel most comfortable giving the pastors a heads-up, you can send us an email, and we’ll be sure to look out for you and say hello.
