- Our next service Date: Saturday, January 30
It’s time for us to serve again at Hesed House! Although the guests have returned to the shelter, volunteers are still not allowed on campus to serve. (Hesed is working closely with the Kane County Health Department to limit exposure to Covid and ensure their guests stay healthy.) Still, they are counting on us to provide dinner, and these are some of the ways you can help:
· Sign up to prepare BBQ Chicken, scalloped potatoes or dessert.
· Sign up to provide bags of frozen mixed vegetables
· Volunteer to help pack lunches the afternoon of January 30
· Donate any old sheets or towels in good condition
· Donate toiletries or medical supplies, including:
Hand Sanitizer
Anti-Bacterial Soap
Disposable Gloves
N95 Masks
Large and Small Mouthwash (Alcohol Free)
Cough Drops
Men’s Razors
Men’s Deodorant
Adult Cold/Flu Medicine (Alcohol Free)
If you would like to prepare food or provide mixed vegetables, contact:

As always, the guests appreciate your generosity and ALWAYS compliment us on our chicken! (It’s one of their favorite meals.) Thanks, everyone, for continuing to support this mission. Last, please share pictures of your experience with Hesed House. Send pictures to office@bataviaumc.org.
