Ash Wednesday-7 p.m. Worship

Fox Valley United Methodist Churches will join for Ash Wednesday Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Geneva, 211 Hamilton Street in Geneva.

Wesley UMC of Aurora, Batavia UMC, UMC of Geneva, and Baker Memorial UMC of St. Charles will join in worship and communion. Please join us! All are welcome.

Earlier Ash Wednesday in the afternoon, “drive through ashes” and “drop in ashes” with communion are available at Batavia United Methodist Church. Pull into the Water Street driveway to Batavia UMC to receive “drive through” ashes and optional communion on Ash Wednesday, February 18, between 12 Noon and 1 p.m.

Or you may enter the Water Street entrance to the church between 1 and 2 p.m. for “drop in” ashes with communion available.
