Have you always wanted to see the inside of this historic church? Join us this Sunday, June 6 at 4:00 p.m. for a public open house and brief tour of our new sanctuary renovations. The Fermi Lab Orchestra will be playing starting at 3:50 p.m. and there will be some food after the tour.
We are embarking on a Mini-Campaign to reduce our debt and position us well to embrace what God has in store for us! We are inviting you to join us for a calendar of brainstorming events around this campaign. The dates are below:
Calendar of Activities
Please join us as a volunteer for one of our brainstorming sessions. Your ideas will be put into action. You do not have to join a committee! (Praise the Lord!) If you’re interested, please request a Zoom link from our office by emailing office@bataviaumc.org
May 3 at 6:30p.m. – Event/tour brainstorming session, to plan how we can show our members a behind the scenes look at our renovation
May 4 at 6:30p.m. – Brainstorm ideas for creating – brochure, video, social media, newsletter to publicize the campaign
May 5 at 6:30p.m. – Prayer activities brainstorming session
May 6 at 6:30p.m. – Thanks activities brainstorming session
May 9 at 6:30p.m. – Youth activities brainstorming session
May 13 at 6:30p.m. – Train tour guide volunteers
May 23 Tours of the sanctuary renovations (times TBD)
May 30 Commitment Sunday – All members make a gift/pledge towards paying off the debt.

BUMC Children’s Ministries continues with Messy Church on June 13th. We hope to be able to offer this interactive experience with scripture stories for kids and families once a month. We need volunteers for two areas: helping us plan each month’s story/activities; volunteers to help at each station with crafts, science experiments, Lego building, nature walks, etc.) Please email office@bataviaumc.org to volunteer.
Parents– Messy Church will be held outside at 10:00a.m. on June 13th. Bring your kids and tell your family and friends as well.
You can sign up now to join us for in-person worship for Sundays in the month of May! Please click the link below in order to register for in-person worship. For the month of May, we are capping attendance at 50 persons
